Is this course for you?

With a firm focus on increasing sustainability, improving energy efficiency, reducing emissions, and reusing what we have rather than creating new, the construction and built environment industry has fully embraced retrofitting in its building practices; which involves changing its structure, systems and amenities to improve the performance of the building, or make it fit for a new use.

The Level 2 Award in Retrofit is a part-time, three-day City & Guilds qualification that has been developed in collaboration with industry specialists and established construction professionals. It is designed to introduce you to the scope and opportunities offered by retrofit in the construction industry; develop your knowledge of the requirements and responsibilities of retrofit roles; and increase your knowledge of retrofit in practice (PAS 2035) and how it impacts on the installation and preparation for a property retrofit system.
