It takes a very special person to pursue a career in the health and social care sector, but for those of you who possess the right personal qualities, dedication, and attitude, a lifetime of rewarding and fulfilling employment awaits.
When working in a care-setting, you will be called upon to use your knowledge and skills in supporting and educating others through the most influential or critical periods of their lives. Acquiring these skills, receiving the correct training, and being suitably qualified is therefore essential if you want to care for children, young people and vulnerable adults. That’s where we are here to help.
On a health and social care course at Lambeth College, you will receive top-quality training and guidance from our team of expert tutors, who have gained a wealth of experience in a variety of caring professions, including teaching, childcare nursing, youth work, care for the elderly, and medical nursing.
You will work in a challenging yet friendly environment, with specialist facilities and staff who are committed to helping you achieve your goals. Lessons are hands-on, creative and practical, and you will also benefit from a work placement, so you’ll be work-ready by the time you complete your chosen pathway.
We offer a wide range of courses in health and social care, available from Level 1 right up to Level 3 Extended Diploma, so whether you want to work with adults or young people, and no matter where you are on your career journey, as long as you have a desire to improve people’s lives then we are sure to have a course to suit you.
