A career in health care and early years is perhaps one of the most rewarding as you are called upon to use your skills in supporting and educating others through the most infl uential or critical periods of their lives. Acquiring these skills and being suitably qualifi ed is therefore essential if you want to care for children, young people and vulnerable adults.

If you want a fulfilling career in early years, health and social care and counselling, you will receive top quality training and guidance from tutors who have worked in a variety of professions including, teaching, childcare nursing, youth work, care for the elderly and medical nursing.

You will work in a challenging and friendly environment with specialist facilities and staff who are committed to helping you achieve. Lessons are hands-on, creative and practical, and you will benefit from a work placement, so you’ll be work-ready by the time you complete your pathway.

To enrol on a Health and Social Care course at Lambeth College you will need to procude the correct documents required to process your DBS application form. You will not be able to enrol without completing a DBS aplication.

One proof of ID:
- Passport - any valid and current passport
- Biometric residence permit - UK
- Current driving licence photo card (full or provisional)
- Birth Certificate (issued within 12 months of birth)

Two proofs of address with your name and address (MUST BE DATED WITHIN THE LAST 3 MONTHS)
- Bank of building society statement (documents from to separate banks can be used)
- Utility bills
- Benefit statements
- P60 or P45, council tax statement or mortgage statement (issued within last 12 months)

Please note, we will accept a letter from head teacher or college principal UK - for 16 to 19 year olds in full time education (only taken in exceptional circumstances if other documents cannot be provided)
