Our Basic Skills study programmes, for 16-18 year olds, are designed for those that would benefit from pastoral support in the classroom.

These programmes help build your confidence, improve your wellbeing, enable you to gain new skills and enhance your employment prospects.

Here at Lambeth College we provide a high-quality, caring and flexible curriculum for those seeking to reach the next stage of their journey, be it studying at a higher level or entering the world of work. Whether you have started a course and realised it’s not for you or you have not been in college for a while but think it’s the time to return, we have a range of courses for 16-18’s who need to improve their basic skills.

All of our programmes include English, maths and a compulsory work experience element. Alongside this you can work towards qualifications in Business, Employability or Sport, depending on the course you choose.

We offfer a personalised approach that ensures that all our students develop new skills, gain qualifications, and grow in confidence as they overcome any barriers and challenges that they may face.  Our goal is to support everyone to develop study skills, achieve qualifications and gain the confidence and knowledge needed to go into the workplace.

Applications for places are subject to a successful interview.
