Today Lambeth College had a fantastic charity called Diversity Role Models at the Clapham Centre to deliver sessions to Hair & Beauty, Business and Creative Media Groups. The aim of these sessions was to equip students with the skills to recognise, challenge and prevent gender and sexuality based discrimination, as well as creating a positive and inclusive College environment. The sessions include personal stories from the speakers as well as strategies and information around tackling LGBTQ+ based bullying and also supporting each other when experiencing any type of discrimination. The sessions were interesting, inspiring and very well received by students and staff who took part.
