Creative Arts and Media students recently completed their work placements at the British Film Istitute (BFI) and achieved an NCFE Level 2 Award in preparing to work in the Film Industry.

Content for the course has been developed by renowned film and theatre organisations, the British Film Institute (BFI) Film Academy and Creative Skillset, with partners including Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, CfBT Education Trust and Tyneside Cinema.

This qualification develops young people’s interest, passion and skills to help them in their potential careers across the film industry.

As part of the qualification, our students worked with Youth Media Organisation, Mouth That Roars (MTR) MTR train young people in film production who wouldn’t ordinarily have access to media resources.

We believe in getting our students career ready and are pleased to work with organisations that make this happen.
