Tuesday 3rd December was yet another successful celebration of the 12-week Prince’s Trust Team Programme. The team members celebrated what they had achieved within the 12 week course with family and friends.

While on the course they received CV and interview workshops, work placements and a residential trip to an outdoor activity centre. They built friendships and bonded as a team.

All members of the programme gave presentations on all aspects of the course, from their time on their residential in Swindon to their work placements at internationally recognised companies, such as GAP, as well as local businesses. They also gave speeches to thank their course leaders and everyone involved on the programme. They were truly humbled by their experience and commented on how much it had helped them move forward.

One parent commented, “It was so lovely to see the students’ enthusiasm for the future and the confidence they gained through the Princes Trust and their fantastic mentors at Lambeth College.  It's an invaluable experience!”

Some of the team are going onto further education, employment or work placements. Team member Dylan Morais–Del Almeida, is temporarily working in LIDLs before starting his Health and Social Care course at Lambeth in the new year.

The team were invited by youth skills organisation, My Spiral, to visit Robeco, an investments company, to take part in a dragon’s den style contest in which the team members had to come up with their own socioeconomic businesses inspired by three words, environment, community, and business itself, in an hour.

“It was an absolute learning experience as we were guided by professionals in relevant fields to manage different parts of setting up a future business. In the end, we got to pitch these ideas to genuine investors and it was a brilliant, official feeling and taste of that possible future path.” Anthony Rossiter-Walkes, team member.

Robeco’s Head of UK Marketing, Bethany Morris, was really impressed with the team’s engagement as were the whole of the Robeco team saying, “We have loved getting to know them
