The annual teaching and learning conference is an opportunity for all curriculum staff to come together and speak about the aims and objectives for the new academic year. The session was led by Clare Dignum, the director of teaching and learning at the college.

Keynote Speaker


šŸ“ø Shakira Martin

Shakira is the former President of the NUS (the first woman from the African- Caribbean community to serve as President). She is currently Head of Student Experience at Rose Bruford College and sits on the Board of Governors at Lambeth College.

Shakira has been a vocal ambassador for FE for years, campaigning for a more equal and inclusive education system, and is a regular - and inspirational speaker ar national congerences.

The college is looking forward to making sure that learning is appropriately challenging for students ā€“ this has been identified as something for us to work on from both student feedback and observations from last year.
