What course are you enrolled on and why did this course interest you?

I first started on the L2 Performing Arts Course because I always had a thing for acting. When I was a little girl, I put on plays for my mum. At 18 I was studying Fashion but my mum asked ‘why don’t you do Performing Arts?’. I was quite shy... I still am, but this course has really helped me to develop my confidence and be able to talk to people. I’m now on the second year of L3 and have applied to drama school.

I really love the acting element of the course and my tutor Drew teaches us all the techniques we need.

What do you like most about Lambeth College?

My teachers are very knowledgeable and my support workers have really helped me to be independent so that I can do things on my own. I like the atmosphere of Lambeth College; the students, the staff, everyone!

What is most enjoyable about your course?

The most enjoyable part of my course is learning the various techniques of acting and performing in front of an audience.

What are you planning to do next & your career aspirations?

I’m planning to go to drama school and I want to become an actress in film and television.

How has Lambeth College helped you?

Lambeth College has helped me a huge amount because I’ve learnt new things and met new people. I feel very comfortable here and it has helped me to achieve more than I had expected. I had no idea I would achieve a high distinction at L2.

I’ll really miss this place and the people in it!

Thank you Othniella! We hope to see you on the big screen soon.
