Photography Learners Build Giant Camera!

Level 2 Photography learners, directed by their teachers, last week built a large scale camera obscura on college grounds. The aim of this project was to display the inner workings of a camera in a life sized format, so that learners could really grasp how the magic of physics and mathematics makes photography work.

Lambeth tourism students visit Morocco

A group of third year tourism students has enjoyed an inspiring trip to Morocco. The students travelled to Marrakesh and Fez as part of a third year module, ‘Tourism in Practice’, when they explored how tourism has created opportunities for the local community.

Travel and Tourism students reach for the skies with British Airways A group of Lambeth College's Travel and Tourism students were treated to a day out at the British Airways HQ in July. The (number) students and two staff, all of whom are on the BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Travel & Tourism, visited the large Waterside complex to learn about the importance of customer service and communications.

Lambeth College – The Careers College and its development partners, Carillion and Arlington Real Estate, have submitted a planning application for the regeneration of its Vauxhall campus, which will create a world-class specialist skills centre.
