This practical, theory-based course elevates your creative skills and technical knowledge to the next level. Teaching you all the required elements to thrive in the beauty industry, either in a salon setting or as a freelance nail technician.
You will gain expertise in key areas such as providing manicures and pedicures, applying and maintaining nail enhancements of all types, maintaining personal health and well-being, health and safety, and client care.
You will also have the opportunity to develop your knowledge, skills, and techniques by learning how to design and apply nail art, how to work on a salon reception and manage bookings, how to upsell and promote products to your clients, and how to display stock to increase sales.
This course can lead to employment as a fully qualified junior nail technician or as a freelance nail technician.

What do you need to apply?
To apply, you will need 2 GCSE qualifications at grades A*-D or 9-3, including English Language, or a Level 1 vocational qualification and Level 1 English qualification

You will be continually assessed with a combination of practical assessments (performing treatments and techniques on clients), observations, and portfolio course work.
