Description

Have you ever dreamed of becoming a hotel manager or becoming airline cabin crew? Do you have the ambition to work in the travel and tourism industry? If so Lambeth College's travel and tourism department is your next destination to fulfil your professional goals. Once accepted onto our industry specific programmes you will embark on a journey to become a holiday rep, hotel manager or cabin crew, you can also progress to university and prepare for roles such as event management and hospitality roles. With us you will develop your interview and study skills, develop industry experience working with the likes of British Airways, and visit international destinations. You will study units including International destinations, UK attractions and the role of cabin crew. On completion of this course you can progress into industry or university equipped with industry recognised additional qualifications in customer service and cabin crew.

Entry Criteria

Our minimum entry criteria may be altered at any stage up to and including enrolment. All offers are subject to a successful interview and completion of an initial and diagnostic assessment.
For some of the programmes we offer you will require:
5 GCSE qualifications at grade A*- C or 9 - 4 including English and /or maths, or equivalent level 2 vocational qualification at merit or above (or pass if equivalent level 2 vocational qualification if pass or fail only).
Other requirements:
This programme prepares you for a career in the travel industry in a number of roles through the BTEC programme and cabin crew qualifications. There is also the option to progress to university should you want to continue your studies. Units include, UK attractions, and international destinations. You will also take exams as part of the course.
