Is this the course for you?
In the UK today there are a large number of people living with a common health condition. These conditions have varying effects depending upon the individual, and the condition involved, but they all require continual management to minimise the effect they have on a person's day-to-day life.
This nationally-recognised qualification will help to develop your awareness of the signs of a health condition, and a detailed understanding of the symptoms and treatments available for a variety of common health conditions, including cardiovascular disease, arthritis, Parkinson's disease, strokes, and physical disabilities. You will also learn how to care for individuals and enable them to manage, monitor and control their condition.
This qualification is ideal for those of you already working in, or intending to work in, the healthcare sector, or wish to further understand a variety of common health conditions that you may encounter amongst people in your care. Completing this course demonstrates your willingness to understand how to care for individuals who are living with the effects of common health conditions.
