This course is designed for those who wish to pursue a career as a make up artist . You will develop skills working in beauty related industry:
Body art design,
Skin tanning techniques,
The art of colouring hair,
The art of dressing hair,
Make and style a hair addition,
The art of photographic makeup,
Providing eyelash and brow treatments,
Creating an image based on a theme in the hair and beauty industry,
Client care and communication in beauty -related industries,
Working with colleagues within beauty-related industries,
Health and safety practice in the salon.
Our minimum entry criteria may be altered at any stage up to and including enrolment. All offers are subject to a successful interview and completion of an initial and diagnostic assessment.
For some of the programmes we offer you will require:
4 GCSE qualifications at or above grade D or 3, or equivalent level 1 vocational qualification.
Level 1 qualification in Hair and beauty,
A keen interest developing skills in a beauty related industry and commitment.
