English & Maths 12 Week Courses

From June 2021 to August 2021, we will be running short, part time English and maths courses for learners looking to progress to further study, advance in their career or just be more confident in the use of maths and English in day-to-day life.

Functional Skills Maths

If you're aged 19 or over and are looking to imporve your maths skills in order to progress to further study; find your perfect job; advance in your current career; or just be more confident in your use of maths in your daily life, then our Functional Skills Maths courses could be exactly what you need.

The levels we offer are:

Functional Skills English

GSTT English and Maths

The GSTT English and maths course is designed specifically for NHS workers from Guy’s and St Thomas’ and are delivered online, everything from assessment to exam.

In English, you will be assessed with exam papers for Reading and Writing, and will need to complete a presentation and discussion for the speaking and listening element. This part will be assessed by your teacher. Maths will be one exam sitting with two papers (one will be calculator based). You will study topics covered by number skills, measures shape and space, and handling data.
