This course and is designed for those who have successfully completed the L3 National Foundation Diploma in Engineering (90 Credit Diploma) and wish to continue to pursue a career in engineering industry. It provides a strong grounding in electrical and electronic engineering with some emphasis on practical project work. You will develop skills in Communications for Engineering Technicians alongside Commercial Aspects of Engineering Organisations and gain an understanding in Properties and Applications of Engineering Materials, Further Mechanical Principles and Applications, Further Mathematics for Engineering Technicians, Principles & Applications of Analogue Electronics and Further Electrical Principles.
Our minimum entry criteria may be altered at any stage up to and including enrolment. All offers are subject to a successful interview and completion of an initial and diagnostic assessment.
For some of the programmes we offer you will require:
5 GCSE qualifications at grade A*- C or 9 - 4 including English and /or maths, or equivalent level 2 vocational qualification at merit or above (or pass if equivalent level 2 vocational qualification if pass or fail only).
Successful completion of the L3 National Foundation Diploma in Engineering (90 Credit Diploma).
