The aim of this course is to prepare learners for a two year level 3 BTEC National Diploma in electrical and electronics engineering which will eventually enable them to apply for university places when completed. The course also provides opportunity for learners to understand the difference between the various engineering sectors. By the end of the course learners would fully understand the electronics and mechanical basics and can decide which path they want to follow.
Our minimum entry criteria may be altered at any stage up to and including enrolment. All offers are subject to a successful interview and completion of an initial and diagnostic assessment.
For some of the programmes we offer you will require:
4 GCSE qualifications at or above grade D or 3, or equivalent level 1 vocational qualification.
GCSE grade at grade D to C or L1 certificate in Engineering.
