The Level 2 Award and Diploma in Art & Design, Fashion provides students with the opportunity to explore the materials, methods and processes that support art and design activities within the fashion pathway. Learners will explore technique, skill and media grounding their abilities to capture and express ideas and forms visually as well as garment construction. Design elements for fashion and sewing skills form the basis of the course; learners will additionally explore the fashion and clothing industry, learning what potential lies within this pathway and what they must do to prepare for that future.
Our minimum entry criteria may be altered at any stage up to and including enrolment. All offers are subject to a successful interview and completion of an initial and diagnostic assessment.
For some of the programmes we offer you will require:
4 GCSE qualifications at or above grade D or 3, or equivalent level 1 vocational qualification.
Successful completion of at least 2-4 GCSEs at C or better,
Ideally have Maths and English achieved at entry level or, preferably, L1,
Review of portfolio, ideally showing some attempts with moderate success in the subject area.
