Description

In addition to studying essential theoretical and contextual aspects of journalism, you will work towards a further understanding of on a range areas including: factual programming, online and broadcast journalism, photography and photojournalism, podcasting, script writing, blogging and vlogging. You will then have the choice to either go onto higher education (we have a progression agreement with our partner university LSBU or enter the multi-media journalism industry. Learners develop specialist portfolios of work as well as good employability skills through practical application, industry based assignment briefs and work experience

Entry Criteria

Our minimum entry criteria may be altered at any stage up to and including enrolment. All offers are subject to a successful interview and completion of an initial and diagnostic assessment.
For some of the programmes we offer you will require:
5 GCSE qualifications at grade A* - C or 9 - 4 including English and /or maths, or equivalent level 2 vocational qualification at merit or above (or pass if equivalent level 2 vocational qualification if pass or fail only).

    Multi-Media starter Kits are on offer to all learners for a small financial contribution. There are also opportunities to apply for in-house bursaries to cover some costs of materials.
