The Level 2 Award and Diploma in Art & Design provides students with the opportunity to explore the materials, methods and processes that support art and design activities. Learners will engage with 2D and 3D practices, experiment with processes, technologies and media to produce work-in-progress and finished outcomes. They will also develop skills in research, expression of thought, justification of concept and evaluation of product. Creativity and expression will be essential as learners learn and develop skills.
Our minimum entry criteria may be altered at any stage up to and including enrolment. All offers are subject to a successful interview and completion of an initial and diagnostic assessment.
For some of the programmes we offer you will require:
4 GCSE qualifications at or above grade D or 3, or equivalent level 1 vocational qualification.
Successful completion of at least 2-4 GCSEs at C or better,
Ideally have Maths and English achieved at entry level or, preferably, L1,
Review of portfolio, ideally showing some attempts with moderate success in the subject area.
