Is this the course for you?

The Level 1 Access Award in Business Skills gives you the opportunity to develop the key financial and administrative skills needed in every business environment. You’ll gain a practical understanding of how money moves in business, and the processes and procedures that control the sales and purchases processes.

This course is perfectly suited to those of you who have minimal work experience, are looking to return to education, or even if you’re self-employed and want to develop your numeracy skills. It’ll provide you with a solid base of knowledge - and core employability skills - in order to take your first steps towards a career in any number of industries, upskill for your current role, or advance to further study and progress to additional AAT qualifications.

The Level 1 Access Award in Business Skills is part of AAT’s range of Short Qualifications; typically taking two weeks to complete, with two study days per week. These Short Qualifications are flexible, adaptable to your personal needs, and focus on the specific knowledge and skills you’ll need for a career in business. What’s more, as they’re provided by AAT (the Association of Accounting Technicians), they’re highly-valued by employers in a wide-range of industries.

This is a part-time course, with multiple start dates throughout the year, so it can be fitted around your existing home, study, and work commitments.
