We were delighted to welcome The Elmgreen School to Lambeth college today. As part of their visit pupils enjoyed taster sessions in Bricklaying where they had fun laying bricks and mixing cement. They also took part in a stencilling activity in the Painting and Decorating department.

Employability skills, CV writing and interview techniques are being developed by students on the Prince’s Trust Programme. Members of Money Supermarket Group kindly shared their skills and knowledge as part of recent structured workshops.

Kalysha Stapleton, 19, took part in a 12-week Prince’s Trust programme delivered by Lambeth College. Her team chose to renovate the playground areas of the Effra Early Years Centre as their community project. These are extracts from her blog, which was part of the project

Working with Anna Newell and Polka Theatre eight of our Performing Arts students collaborated to create a theatre adventure for 0-12months. The event was a huge success and enjoyed by all.
