The Supported Learning department provide creative classes to help students with learning difficulties and disabilities develop confidence.

Our supported learning department is a valuable asset for Lambeth College and the community, and provides those students with learning difficulties and disabilities the skills and knowledge they need to enter employment and gain independence.

Entry Level 3 Art and Media has proved particularly successful in our students’ development, allowing them to explore and grow their ideas beyond what they had previously thought possible, using a variety of mediums. Students used water based oil pastels, graphics and soft wire to form 2D and 3D artwork.

Being creative gives students the self-belief and confidence to go forwards and progress onto other courses. This year members of the programme progressed onto key skill courses in ICT and Maths and English. We are certainly looking forward to seeing more creative works in the future.
