The Denmark / Lambeth Exchange project has been running since 2011. The project enables learners from a range of different curriculum areas – including Business and IT, Creative Arts and Media, Sports and Leisure, Travel and Tourism, Catering and Dental Technology - to come together and participate in all
aspects of organising and running a cultural exchange. Learners are taught skills, set deadline based tasks including organising a full theatre production, project & business management, creating design elements, running Social Media marketing, as well as Peer mentoring and talent exchanges within this tutor-led extra curriculum company. Learners will visit various colleges in Denmark such as Kobenhavns Teniske Skole, Copenhagen Hospitality College, Film & Theatre Skole, Lyngby Handelsgymnasium and Kobenhavns abne Gymnasium within Denmark. These visits serve to introduce learners to a wider experience of their curriculum subject areas of study as well as developing important employer related soft skills such as interpersonal and diplomacy skills.
