Level 3 Sport Science Learners have successfully completed a ten week training programme to develop employability skills like communication, presenting and leadership, which are desperately needed by the sports industry. The Learners attended the training programme in their own time and gained skills required to help them get onto the employment ladder and prepare them for work. A series of workshops was delivered by industry leaders aimed at developing skills in communication, creativity and problem solving. Programme Leader Darren Morgan said, 'The programme was impressive and the Learners really appreciated the opportunity to learn about creativity and problem solving skills, which are highly valued by industry. The Learner's confidence and career ready standards have noticeably improved over the ten weeks'.
