What apprenticeship programme did you join and why?

I joined the Maintenance Operations apprenticeship because I wanted to be skilled in more than one trade.

What did you enjoy the most on the apprenticeship programme?

Seeing what happens behind the scene in college and assisting with contractors where possible.

Now you’ve completed an apprenticeship, what do you want to do next?

What’s next for me? Well to go on my specialist area which would be electrics. Myself and my in house electrician (James) make a good team to cater to the college.

What are your future aspirations in terms of your career and life?

My future aspiration is to have my own maintenance team filled with various skilled people and help people in challenging boroughs

What was special about your time at Lambeth College?

Being recognised by your peers and staff members for your achievements and work rate.

Any words of advice to students on an apprentice programme or thinking to join one?

My advice to current apprentices and upcoming apprentices is to have the will power, never give up and excel in your craft.
