We are very proud to launch the Student Commission’s online survey on racial equality. Commission members have developed the survey and will use it as one of their methods to gather the voices and experiences of other young people aged 16-25.

We encourage all of our Lambeth College students to complete the online survery on racial equality. Your survey will be analysed by the Commission and there is great potential to make a positive change in 4 key areas (education, employment, health and wellbeing and policing).

Commissioners will then present their findings and recommendations to stakeholders at the final project showcase event in June 2021.

Please use this as an opportunity to make a positive change for you and your peers!

Four students from Lambeth SU are working with the Commission for Racial Equality this academic year on a project where they will be given the tools to carry out a piece of online research at the College. They will meet with the commissioning group and other colleges and their findings will go towards creating a video which will form part of a national educational resource package that students will deliver in all tutorials with guidance from the group.

The aim is to involve students in action that will impact their fellow learners and promote racial justice throughout London and national colleges and beyond.

Deadline to complete the Racial Justice survey is March 4th
