Thank You Social Media Jan 2021 1

It should all be our number priority to protect the NHS and help save lives. We have played our role by following government guidelines and making it mandatory for staff, students and visitors to wear a face covering in the College, we enforced the 2m distance rule and we built hand sanitiser stations throughout the College.

To show our immense support to our great NHS heroes and key workers, we look forward to hanging up Thank You banners across the College and we also invite staff members and students to use the new Thank You email signature banner.

Since the start of the pandemic, some of us have been under the care of NHS staff or perhaps know someone who has. We may also know family and friends that put themselves on the frontline everyday to help save lives.  Frontline and key workers have put their lives on the line everyday: teachers, cleaners, police officers, fire fighters, health care workers, retail assistants and more. We don't have to search far and wide to see how hard NHS, frontline and key workers have been working.

Please show your gratitude by staying at home and following the rules. We all need to work together to help take pressure off the NHS and save lives.

To every NHS staff member reading this - from doctors to nurses, pharmacists to administrative staff and cleaners and to every key worker reading this - the staff and students at Lambeth College wish to say thank you. Thank you for being so selfless and thank you for your hard work.

We owe the NHS immense and sincere gratitude and support, not just now, but for all time to come. Long live our NHS.
