Our Journal

You may have heard on the news that the Department for Education (DfE) announced that college students will switch to online classes until mid February. This is due to the currently high levels of COVID infections.

Given the high COVID infection rates in London the College has taken the decision that all January exams will be cancelled. Please be reassured that this is not a decision we have taken lightly, but the safety of our college community must be our highest priority. We will be in touch directly with students who are directly affected.

We are expecting further information from the Secretary of State about summer exams and will provide further updates as we hear from the DfE.

All students will be contacted directly to confirm arrangements for future online lessons. Students should NOT come into college unless they have been contacted and asked to attend in person. Students in receipt of college meals will continue to receive payment in the usual way.

We are commited to supporting students throughout the Spring term to ensure that everyone achieves their qualifications. We recognise that this is a very difficult time for many and want people to know that we are on hand to provide support with classes, health and well-being, access to IT and our financial bursary fund. Please use the contact details below if you would like support with anything - we are on hand and able to help.
