Students on the Level 2 Art and Design (Fashion and Textiles) course were given a fantastic opportunity to show and prove their creative streak by designing their uniform and needless to say, they did exceedingly well. They worked alongside local seamstress Novelette Jennifer Ellis and course leader Karina Goulding to create the amazing final piece that the staff members later went on to wear.

The Art and Design students approached the project with professionalism, striking talent and a willingness to accommodate JN Bank's requests and after many brainstorms and ideas, a sleek uniform was birthed. The staff at JN Bank were completely impressed with all the effort and contributions the students made.

Black quotation mark clip artI was very pleased that as a company focused on communities, we chose to have students from Lambeth College design our uniforms, which is perhaps the first of many community engagements for the new U.K. Bank. Having the students visit to present their designs and to interact with the JN Bank team is perhaps one of the highlights of the process and for me was an important step in connecting with the next generation.
