Students on the Level 2 Art and Design (Fashion and Textiles) course were given a fantastic opportunity to show and prove their creative streak by designing their uniform and needless to say, they did exceedingly well. They worked alongside local seamstress Novelette Jennifer Ellis and course leader Karina Goulding to create the amazing final piece that the staff members later went on to wear.
The Art and Design students approached the project with professionalism, striking talent and a willingness to accommodate JN Bank's requests and after many brainstorms and ideas, a sleek uniform was birthed. The staff at JN Bank were completely impressed with all the effort and contributions the students made.

Quite impressed with the Fashion Design students at Lambeth College, who are truly well on their way to a successful career in the industry. Throughout the project they demonstrated professionalism, pure talent and skills in the art of designing. They are such lovely individuals who were flexible, adapting and being quite resourceful whenever a challenge presented itself. Gems to work with! They were accommodating to every change and request and had a positive attitude and pleasant disposition throughout. I was very pleased that as a company focused on communities, we chose to have students from Lambeth College design our uniforms, which is perhaps the first of many community engagements for the new U.K. Bank. Having the students visit to present their designs and to interact with the JN Bank team is perhaps one of the highlights of the process and for me was an important step in connecting with the next generation.

Sharing the Journey
It was an absolute pleasure to see the passion and enthusiasm the Art and Design (Fashion and Textile) students displayed towards this project. A massive well done to the group of students that lended their creativity to design JN Bank's newest uniform.
