Lambeth College Construction students attended Skillsbuild 2019 this week and proved just how confident they are by demonstrating their newly learnt skills at the most recent regional qualifiers.

Skillsbuild is the biggest construction skills competition in the UK, run by the CITB, to find the best of the best.

Our talented Hairdressing Students create some fantastic looks as part of their end of year photoshoot. Working with the Photography students they were set the task to create an avant-garde look. The day was created so students could experience what it would be like to work on a real film set.

The nursery parents and staff were treated to a special reading workshop hosted by the talented urban fiction author Von Mozar who in his speech said “Bill Gates reads 1 book per week and even though he is constantly giving away his wealth, he is still the 2nd richest man in the world.”

Lambeth College learners Narmei and Vanessa have been awarded with Jack Petchey Awards for making excellent progress, being courageous and demonstrating tenacity at the weekly Creative Movement Club.
