About the course: This course provides an introduction to the practical skills and theoretical knowledge required to be a painter and decorator.

Preparation of surfaces
Wall hangings
Painting
Scaffolding
Health and safety
Functional skills – English, Maths, ICT
After this course: Level 2 course.
Entry requirements: Entry level 3 in English or Maths or equivalent level in initial assessment.
