About the course: This course will give you a range of skills and knowledge of different areas of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at an intermediate level.
Course content:
Using ICT to present information – producing business documents and presentations
Introduction to computer systems – understanding basic computer systems and software and hardware specifications
Website development – creating a website
Networking basics – understanding different network systems
Customising software – adapting software to different user needs
Spreadsheets
Database
Functional skills – English, Maths
After this course: Level 3 course or employment.
Entry requirements: 2 GCSE passes (Grades A - D). If you have not achieved a grade D or above in English or Maths you will need a Level 1 pass in initial assessment.
