The new Sixth Form at our Clapham Centre, overlooking Clapham Common, is now fully open for business. With a massive £20 million investment the 6,000 square metre Sixth Form Centre was opened on 6 June 2009, to provide some of the best teaching accommodation in London, with provision for 1200 students.

The new building contains:

That means giving them a College they can feel proud of, and which they want to attend. The new Clapham Centre enables us to provide the best Sixth Form provision in the Borough.”

The focus of the new Sixth Form Centre is not just on A and AS Levels, but also wider skills and qualifications such as BTEC National Diplomas. Students will be well equipped to go straight into work or to progress to university.

Richard Chambers explains: “We wanted a building with ‘wow factor’ – an iconic building for Lambeth. The design radiates optimism about our collective ability to learn together. “
