And here's what some of our students say about their experiences at Lambeth College.

Angelina Palin_mid_web-iAngelina Palin says " I didn't get a great start at school and decided to come to Lambeth College to do my A Levels.  I have to say that it's been brilliant here and I've been very happy.  I've also made lots of new friends."  Angelina who lives in Brixton is now going on to do a Performing Arts course at the College's new Sixth Form Centre and would really love a job in the media.

Sylvia Lokko_mid_web_iSylvia Lokko achieved outstanding grades for her A Levels at Lambeth College, with three A's and a B.  The Peckham teenager will be going to Kings College London to read Law.  She said:  "The teachers here were really good.  In particular my Law teacher has been a real inspiration to me."  Sylvia has two bits of advice for any students just starting out in the sixth form: "hard work, and the library!"

SUNKANMI_mid_iSunkanmi Disu was a Business student at our Clapham Centre.  He says: "I am proud to have been a student at Lambeth College because it increased my self confidence.  I felt comfortable when making presentations of the work I completed as part of my course.  I have gained knowledge that will allow me to pursue my goal of being a financial advisor.  I am proud of my achievements."

Jason_Decube_mid_web_iBusiness student Jason Decube took part in Lambeth College's Career Academy  offered to students on the Business: BTEC National Diploma and Computing: BTEC National Diploma courses.  The Academy enables students to benefit from a six-week paid internship at a high profile company, one-to-one mentoring by business professionals and participation in employer-lead seminars, work-site visits, practice interviews and CV development sessions.

Jason says: "Through the Career Academies UK scheme Lambeth College gave me a golden opportunity to better myself.  Hopefully all I have learnt and experienced can lead me on my way to greatness."
