The Skills for Business team recognise the role that practical experience brings to the quality of our training. Our Construction trainers are competent Plumbers, Painters and Decorators, Electricians and Joiners with years of real life experience in the industry. When your employees are trained and assessed by our Construction Training Team, they will be trained by some of the best in the business!
The high standard of our Construction training has been recognised in the full CoVE (Centre of Vocational Excellence) status maintained by the College for Construction since 2003.
The College operates a robust Quality Assurance and initial assessment system and implements Equality, Disability Discrimination Act and Health and Safety Policies. To ensure our high level of quality training is maintained, our staff are routinely observed as part of an annual Professional Development Review Cycle.

- Plastering (Solid Plastering - Basic): NVQ Level 2
- Wood Occupations (Bench Joinery): NVQ Level 2
- Wood Occupations (Bench Joinery): NVQ Level 3
- Wood Occupations (Site Carpentry): NVQ Level 2
- Wood Occupations (Site Carpentry): NVQ Level 3
- Decorative Finishing: NVQ Level 2
- Decorative Finishing (Painting): NVQ Level 3
- Electrotechnical Services: C&G NVQ Level 3
