Lambeth College is celebrating after three construction students won top awards at the Skillsbuild regional heats 2012.
A total of nine students entered the competition in categories including Brickwork, Painting and Decorating and Plastering. Lambeth College walked away with four medals in total.
Plastering student Daniel Ward won a bronze medal as did Painting and Decorating student Bobbi Gregory. In the Wall and Floor Tiling category, Paul Jamison won another bronze medal for the College and talented student Marcus Walsh won the silver medal in this category. The students pitted their wits against other trainees and apprentices from the London area and were required to produce high quality test pieces to demonstrate their ability to work neatly within a strict timescale.
