HRH Prince Charles is welcomed to the Oval Cricket Ground by Lambeth College students taking part in a Prince's Trust Programme.
Lambeth College Prince’s Trust students played host to a very special royal guest this month. HRH the Prince of Wales dropped in at the Oval cricket ground, the base camp for one of our Prince's Trust projects, during his visit to see the redevelopment of the famous test ground's pavilion. The Prince took time to chat and pose with our learners who are currently taking part in a 12-week programme based on personal and social development, work placements and serving the community. Each project runs three times a year and uses the ‘spirit of cricket’ to help young people move on to jobs or take up higher level courses.
