ReCo - The Retail Company selling Eco stationery and much more!

ReCo is the new name for the student shop at our Clapham Centre. ReCo is a student-run social enterprise, which is designed to train students to work in the Retail Sector.

The shop is part of our suite of employability programmes for entry level learners, which won an AOC National Beacon Award in 2009, for providing enterprise opportunities for learners with learning difficulties and/or disabilities. Our Award Sponsors were Mencap and RNIB, who were impressed with our outstanding provision for which we are particularly proud.

The shop provides an essential service for students and staff at Lambeth College. The shop is open from 10 am to 2.00 pm everyday and 12 noon to 2 pm each Thursday (during term time only).

We sell a range of products, specialising in students' everyday stationery needs. Our most popular items include eco friendly lever-arch files and ring binders, coloured gel pens, greetings cards and plastic wallets! We also have special sales for Christmas, Easter, and Valentines where you can buy gifts and cards.

We have extras too. Reco commissions handmade products to sell for limited periods and we currently have beautiful handmade natural face and body products made by a local herbalist. At different times we will be commissioning different products, so it is worth dropping by to get something unique! If you want us to market your handmade product please drop by and speak to us.

ReCo has just undergone a complete rebranding and refurbishment and has recently re-launched with a fresh new look and feel!

We have worked with Peter Jones (John Lewis Partnerships) to create our the image, so hopefully it will not disappoint you! Our new look includes, new lighting, flooring and many exciting new products!

The shop is an integral part of the college community with students and staff appreciating the service that is provided. The trainee students have received excellent feedback on their personal presentation and customer service; vital skills that they can transfer to the workplace. All trainees move on to working in the retail or customer service field and our trainees work in Charity Shops, as an additional part of their training.
