Art Exhibition at The Brix, St Matthews Church in Brixton

Adult learners from Lambeth College's Art, Painting and Drawing courses will be bringing a touch of colour to Brixton's St. Matthews Church this month when they display their works of art from the past twelve months on the walls of The Brix.  With over 40 pieces of artwork from students past and present, this will be a superb platform to showcase the talents of some very talented artists from around the borough of Lambeth and beyond. 

This exhibit is a collaborative project between Lambeth College and the Brix and selected paintings and drawings may be available for sale after the exhibition closes.

Artworks will be selected via a competition and a judging panel assembled at The Brix. The winning entry will be awarded a prize of £250 at a private viewing and opening ceremony on Monday 18 June.

Last year’s winning entry was Maximilian Steinborn, who attended Life Drawing and Painting and Drawing classes from 2009-2010 and is now studying at the Leipzig Art Academy, Germany.
