Women into Construction Careers Event
Opportunities for women in the construction industry were brought to our special event in April.

The Women into Constuction Careers Event took place at the Clapham Centre of Lambeth College on Thursday 27 April.
170 women took the opportunity to find out more about careers and courses in building and construction, including carpentry, bricklaying, plastering, stomemasonry, painting and decorating, electrical installation, plumbing, building management and surveying.
A range of colleges, training providers, construction firms and Jobcentreplus were available to give advice and guidance. Visitors were also able to watch and try out specialist decorative techniques with the hlep of Lambeth College students and staff.
