Careers and Employment Fair

On 10th May, Lambeth College held its annual Careers and Employment Fair at the Clapham Centre.  This event was arranged by the Careers team and is designed to encourage students to find out more about the particular careers they wish to follow.  Representatives from a range of companies included Price Waterhouse Coopers, Lloyds TSB, the Armed Forces and the Metropolitan Police.  Additionally, a programme of seminars ran throughout the day, giving students another opportunity to learn about available career paths. 

The event aims to empower students by giving them the opportunity to make direct contact with employers, with a view to finding immediate or future employment links or expanding their career ideas.  It is also a chance for tutors to meet and network with employers, recruitment agencies and support organisations.

Approximately 800 students attended this year’s event, which received very positive feedback from students, tutors and exhibitors.
