April 2005
One of Lambeth College's franchise partners, the London Brain Injury Vocational Centre (LBIVC), recently held their Annual Award Ceremony. 42 clients with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) who had successfully worked towards the National Skills Profile and Computer Literacy and Information Technology (CLAIT) qualification were presented with their awards by Jacqui Henderson and Simon Hughes MP. A representative client spoke of his personal experiences. He explained the frustrations experienced by clients with ABI in their everyday lives and described how the LBIVC gave them enormous support in their endeavours to gain a more positive future in their professional and personal lives.
