A New Principal for Lambeth College

The new Principal Richard Chambers is welcomed to Lambeth College by Chair of the Corporation Dame Lorna Boreland-Kelly.

Richard Chambers became the Principal of Lambeth College on 1 November.

Richard was formerly Principal of Sir George Monoux Sixth Form College in North London for five years.  Prior to that, he was Deputy Principal at Lewisham College. 

Dame Lorna Boreland-Kelly, Chair of the Corporation, said: ”The College is extremely fortunate to have made such a strong appointment.   Richard has a track record second to none of achieving excellence for students in the organisations in which he has worked.  The Governors are looking forward to working with him to achieve our goal of lifting College performance from good to excellent”.

Richard Chambers said: “Lambeth is a great college and I feel very honoured to have been appointed as its Principal.  I look forward with great enthusiasm to working with my new colleagues and all the College partners”.
