Riding into Work
Paul and Warren: new skills have brought about better employment opportunities.
May 2004
Two of our Motorcycle and Scooter Maintenance students, Paul and Warren, have been finding their newly-found mechanical skills much sought after.
Paul, is working towards an NVQ Award. He is currently studying for a City & Guilds Certificate in Motorcycle Engineering. While still only in his first year with us, Paul has already found work and is helping to restore some very valuable old motorcycles. This is exacting work but he has proved more than capable of the task. His new employer is very pleased with his standard of work and his professional attitude. Paul will be progressing to the next level of the NVQ Award with us in September.
Following up on contacts we have with industry, Warren has managed to secure a job with one of the many employers with whom we work. Warren will now be helping to look after the motorcycles of professional people in the City of London.
