Lambeth Community Sounds

As part of this year’s Celebrating Age Festival Lambeth Community Sounds presented radio shows for the over 50s. The shows went out every Wednesday evening from 13 October to 10 November on Resonance FM –104.4 FM.
The five shows featured information and advice slots, plus music from the 1930s to the 1970s. Each programme included speech packages made by students from Lambeth College’s Radio Production course. William Apunte from the course also acted as producer.
Partners in this exciting project were Age Concern Lambeth, the Celebrating Age Festival, Lambeth Arts, Lambeth College, Resonance FM and the South East London Community Foundation.
