Congratulations are to be given to the CIOB Site Management students who won the CIOB London Region Annual Student Challenge held at UCL on 9 February.
The challenge was based on a series of University Challenge type questions about building and construction and anagrams, with the obligatory music round and a photo round on the identification of famous buildings. The Certificate course put forward two teams, the ‘B’ team winning the contest by a good margin.
We go on to represent the London Region at the National Finals in March. In addition, as a reward for winning, we will be hosting next year’s regional challenge.
The team went on to gain 4th place in the National Finals.
