A Splash of Gold

October 2004
Our Exams staff are told to keep in prime physical condition these days in order to deal with more than 20,000 examination entries each year. One shining example is Sue Jones. Sue came back from the Amateur Swimming Association's Southern Counties Short Course Masters competition with six gold medals and one silver medal. Earlier last month she also won nine gold medals at the Basingstoke Open. Sue trains every day and competes in breast stroke and front crawl categories. She said: "I've trained very hard for these events and will soon be competing in national events. I hope to do very well in those too."
