Vox Radio
Lambeth College has it’s very own radio station VOX RADIO which launches each November at its Vauxhall Centre. It broadcasts from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm each Thursday and can be connected to via the College Intranet 'LCNet'.
This innovative project has been a huge success since its first launch back in 2005 and has been hailed by many staff and students of the College as being professional and engaging.
The station’s aim is to keep the College’s students and staff informed on educational issues, news and events, hot topics, debates and other items of interest, as well as playing great music.
Students from our Radio: C&G Level 3 Diploma Advanced Media Techniques course are required to take part in researching the type of programming, topics and music tastes their target audience will appreciate. They also learn practical and presentation skills required to keep a real radio station live and appealing.
