This course is for students who have some previous knowledge of soft furnishings, having attended a beginners course or previous improvers course.

It enables students to expand their knowledge of measuring, calculating and cutting fabrics and teaches new techniques

As a group the techniques learned will be used to produce a soft furnishings item.

For this course you will need to provide all of your own fabrics, and will need a basic sewing kit of tape measure, scissors, thread, pins and needles.

You must be aged 19 or over.

You will be required to attend a short interview before enrolling on this course.
