This course helps students to learn about the policy and procedures relating to safeguarding children and young people and how to work within the legal framework.
Course content:
- Current legislation
- Impact of theories on practice
- Safeguarding procedures
After this course: Progression to level 3 qualification
Level 1 qualification or equivalent in the initial College assessment. You must be aged 18 or over. You do not have to be working.
